Monavie's Cool

Monavie's Cool

My 2nd shipment of Monavie Active has arrived! Yeah! Just in time cos we have already run out our first batch of 28 bottles.

Dad was so blown off by its effect that he's fervently recommending it to his colleagues. Now he can handle his 12km run without pain.

Guess he was amazed by how fast Monavie did in relieving his knee pain. I never doubted the effect since I have so many positive feedbacks. I attribute it to Glucosamine and Celadrin that's found in Monavie Active.

Even my relatives are all trying it out. I hope grandpa's knees can finally get its long needed lubrication.

I think the doctors are really smart. Not only did they use concorted the age-defying Monavie with Acai (top super fruit from Amazon) and other super fruits, they added these 2 important ingredients. While glucosamine aids flexibility of the joints and celadrin forms a protective membrane, the fruit extract fasten the absorption rate of glucosamine and celadrin into the joints.

3 Cheers for Monavie!!!

How to win friends and influence people

How to win friends and influence people

Started on yet another book by Dale Carnegie "How to win friends and influence people" that has sold 15 million copies on the current edition.

First heard of this book from Shyan - Monarch Trainer. The way he described it made me very very curious to how come this book has benefitted him so much. Made a mental note to read it.

Was reading the first chapter of the book and I found it interesting and stimulating already. Remembering what Shyan and Ivan has taught about reinterating or using what you have learnt immediately, here's the first concept learnt from Carnegie:

Don't criticize, condemn or complain

Avril, you are Right-brained

Avril, you are Right-brained

Most right-brained people like you are flexible in many realms of their lives. Whether picking up on the nuances of musical concerto, appreciating the subtle details in a work of art, or seeing the world from a different perspective, right-brained people are creative, imaginative, and attuned to their surroundings.

People probably see your thinking process as boundless, and that might translate to your physical surroundings as well. Some people think of you as messier than others. It's not that you're disorganized, it's just that you might use different systems to organize (by theme, by subject, by color). Straight alphabetization and rigidly ordered folders are not typical of right-brained behavior.

You are also more intuitive than many. When it comes to reading literature, you probably prefer creative writing or fiction over nonfiction. And when it comes to doing math, you might find you enjoy geometry more than other forms like algebra.

Thick Face Black Heart

Thick Face Black Heart
Wee... Just finished reading Thick Face Black Heart by Chu Chin-Ning this morning. Fantastic book I should say. Its on the warrior philosophy for conquering the challenges of business and life.

At first, I thought its like any other business and management books I have read before. But as I read along, I find that I became more intrigued by her refreshing concepts. She derived most of them from another book by Lee Zhong Wu called Thick Black Theory.

Thick Black Theory has never been translated or published outside of China. Even within China, Lee's frank discussion of the uses of ruthlessness and hypocrisy was so disturbing that the country banned it since the day of its publication. - Chin-Ning

Some interesting concepts that I would like to share:

1) Thick Face - the shield: to protect yourself from the criticism and negative opinions of others

2) Black Heart - the spear: to do battle with others and yourself

3) A Black Heart is ruthless but not necessarily evil

4) It is part of understanding yourself and your destiny to know when to exercise your destructive force and when to submit to the destructive force of others.

Analogy:

The grass bends easily in the wind. The great oak stands unmoved. A strong wind can uproot the oak, but no wind, however strong, can uproot the grass that bends flat before it.

Driving

Driving

Just last week ago, mom wanted me to rent a car to drive during the Chinese New Year period. I actually shudder at the thought of it. haahha for one, I haven been driving for about a year plus, secondly, it brought back memories of the time when I rented for 3 days and ended up stressed and pain in the back.

I was hoping that she dropped the whole idea. I dunno to cry or laugh, cos the very next thing she did was to go on my behalf to rent a Proton Wira!!!! Manual transmission! I almost died on the spot. I will be stuck with that car for a week!!!!

I can imagine the amount of backache i'm gonna incur soon. Wee!!! Thankfully, I will be getting my Monavie Active!!
