Windows Live Messenger's Favourite Message

Error code: 80072efd

I am getting it so darn often that I can memorise the code already!
I seem to get problems with windows live every alternate days. Having scoured through my favourite search engine for solutions, apparently, there's no fool-proof way of resolving this.

Did this:

Click start, then click 'RUN', type
and this:
Step1:> login as administrator

step2:> start->cmd -> right click->run as administrator.
step3:> type this and press enter : C:\Windows\system32>netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
* this step takes some time.
step4:> Restart msn.

and this:

Remove any Internet Explorer proxy server settings
In Internet Explorer, click Tools and then click Internet Options.
In the Internet Options dialog box, go to the Connections tab.
Click LAN Settings…
Untick the Use a proxy server for your LAN (These settings will not apply to dial-up or VPN connections) checkbox.
Click OK and OK again Internet Options
And none of them works for me!!!

Have you tried "Repair". Go to Control Panel->Programs (where u can uninstall programs), there should be a Repair option for Live Messenger
